  1. Bosses are in ruins, NFKM trying to survive, Neptunes Inferno not in their (our) best shape ever. How many good players have to leave the game before they realise they are driving their users away? After erratic and not well thought of patches good players have left the game. When will the developers learn to listen to their users? They have a product that sells and they try to kill it. They only have to look to other projects/games that once they got the community involved they became legendary.
  2. Well, same thing seems to have happened to Neptunes Inferno - looks like all alt nations of players are kicked out. Neptunes Flotilla is headless as my alt "Monty Python" was chief there. My other alt is also kicked out of the fleet it was in.

    Is that an A tier Charlemagne? Apparently S!!! You lucky #$&*%^$ Seems like corrupted graphics, try re-starting the game and reinstalling if it is not fixed. Make sure you have saved in fb or google before uninstalling
  5. Update, I got a tier B Queen Elizabeth, it uses tier C graphics as B graphics are not included in the data file. My fears that some nations are at disadvantage are unfounded
  6. True, as it rolled out levels are irrelevant. This is also why I suggested the higher tiers of the same ship to be unlocked 10-15 levels after the original tier (e.g Pensacola D (original) lvl 41, Pensacola C lvl 51, Pensacola B lvl 66, Iowa C (original) lvl 100, Iowa B lvl 110 (same as original tier B California), Iowa A lvl 125. Of course the Italian and French ships should be rated at their appropriate level.
  7. 4.2.X patch brought different tiers of the same ship into play. The suggestion is to make possible, once a blueprint is researched, an upgrade (refit) option to higher tier of an already built ship using only steel (not more gold for premium ships) and keeping the same crew xp.   8. Hahaha! thanks for pointing it out. looks like a fabrication shed with two rail cars (without any rails coming or going) parked in front. I guess as a military building has to look inconspicuous
  9. With patch 4.3 rolled out the nation specific ship trees are completely dated. Please update the ship trees, add Italian and French ships and also show the different tier stats for each ship.
  10. That would be another way to get a ship to a higher tier without completely unbalancing the game - give an extra slot. This would require balancing the slots first (making FCS relevant to the game, etc. as described in the Ship upgrade system thread) but this would require actually listening to the players and thinking - two things that the developers don't do very well.
  11. Also stop with the lottery madness. It should be: a. Build a ship of tier whatever (as was up until now) b. 10 levels later get the option to refit ship to higher tier (keeping the same crew) c. another 10-15 levels later get the option for a second (and final) refit 2 tiers higher than original
  12. The devs should KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid). No reason for "debris", "crew certificates", "extra crew xp", "research". Tiers are nice. once the WOF gets capped to a tier (I hope soon - should be in same patch) probably more wof will happen. Tiers should be upgrades to existing ships so that players that have exceeded lvl 120 get motivated again (if next tier of a ship was unlocked say 10 levels above the original ship not handed out by lottery).

Tiers are in reverse alphabet order with the exception of having "S" at the top (special? super?) so it is F, E, D, C, B, A, S The Russian roulette as you say and I agree is there to piss off most players and make random (lucky) players powerful... only use I have for my Z1 E tier DD is to sell it for 5 "debris"
  15. There are also good things in this update but for now... A lot of gold went down the drain... My best ship now is with my least used and lowest level nation (a Tier A "Progetto UP41" BB - more when I build it) The WOF system is once again broken as someone will take an S tier superbattleship, CV and SS in expert wof (as all Italian and French ships are now level 1). Can be easily fixed by capping by tier instead of level (should be included in update). This is not a patch, I like to consider it as Navy Field Mobile 2 - only instead of shutting down the old game and starting a new one they force all the players to migrate to NFM2 (which is a good thing). More later, when the update settles in
  16. Selling of premium ships should be at 100% or an option to upgrade to new tier when blueprints get available should be there. Investing a lot of gold and time to vet a premium ship just to become obsolete by a patch is just ridiculous. On a second thought ships should be upgraded to higher tier (once blueprints are researched) by remaining in drydock for some time and using some steel (premium ships included) keeping the crew experience.
  17. I don't think that a user signs in, just that a player is associated with an account (g or fb). Disassociating a player from an account would not be desirable by the developers as it would enable multiple NF accounts by the same player.
  18. Another player required assistance to retrieve his account today. Dear developers, please consider adding a phrase in the startup tips at the loading screens such as: "Save your game with g+ or fb to retrieve in re-install or new device installation"
  19. An advice to all captains: Save your game in google or fb now. If the installation gets corrupted by an update or you migrate to a new device you will lose your account (and have to e-mail the developers to re-instate, sometimes with great delays).
  20. I agree with 007, I would have preferred new nations than "researching" ships. Not sure about the tier system, will see when it is released.
  21. Is there a clear path to the occupy zone? I had the impression they were just two parallel minefields, and the best way to occupy is to push through the mines just south or north of the guns where the minefield is thinner.
  22. Try contacting [email protected] and message them in facebook. If you can't, don't want to wait for their answer (amy take some time) AND you have your account saved in google or facebook (if you haven't do it now - at the nation selection screen push either the google or facebook button at upper left corner) uninstall and reinstall the game - most likely some file is corrupted and triggers the crash.

    I see your suggestion and partly* agree to that, but lets fix what we have before making the system more complex. *as long as it does not interfere with each nation's "identity" - i.e. KM always having an advantage at range, RN at power, IJN at speed...

    While the ship upgrade system with the 8 slots is nice, as it is implemented there are actually only 2 builds for each ship, one for GB/WOF and one for HA. FCS: As is only reason to upgrade is to get HA bonuses - no functionality in online battles. Suggestion: increase sight/radar/sonar bonuses and maybe add a 5% chance for critical hit (+50% damage or so) bonus at each upgrade. Main Guns: for most CAs and BBs the lvl 3 guns are the only way to go. If the difference between levels was smaller there could be a reason to build a battleship with eg. gun lvl 1 or 2 in order to get some other upgrades. Sec Guns: as is only reason to upgrade is to get AAW enabled status. Suggestion get all levels CL/CA sec guns AAW enabled (DD/CL prime guns where applicable) and give them different bonuses each level (eg. lvl 1 small range/slow reload/high damage, lvl 2 med range/med reload/ low damage, lvl 3 med range/ slow reload/ high damage) so any setting will be an option with higher levels a little more appealing Armour: instead of belt/deck/bulge in separate upgrades have all of them in each, increasing by a percentage (eg. lvl1: 1000/600/250, lvl2: 1250/800/500, lvl3 1500/1000/1000) Torpedoes: not bad as is. Hedgehogs need a small boost to become relevant again - probably a bundle of 5 as stated is a good idea Speed: not bad as is Flightdeck: Irrelevant in any ship other than CVs and mogami44. Could be dropped from other ships Aircraft: is there any bonus for the fighter upgrade? if there is please make it apparent. if not a small one would be nice.
