  1. Most premium ships has equal power as their descendants with lesser hull. In US and UK, SS in level 79, Gato and A Type are not weaker than SS92. Except hull, both of them have equal stats in speed and diving time and even more in the number of launchers. Their CV79 owns over CV92 too. However, for IJN, SS79 Kai Kou Type is a very weak boat. Although she is smaller in size and has same speed and diving time as I-400, she has only six bow launcher (and zero stern launcher), making it vulnerable to SS fights. The only reason to use Kai Kou Type is to use its small size to pass through net of sonar. But the reason is not justifiable as it cannot scan dived SSs (okay it has scouts) In conclusion, Kai Kou Type is weak in SS combat (no stern launchers), is also weak in hunting big ships (only 6 launchers in total). So perhaps the only usage of it is to destroy heavy guns XD. I would discourage players to use gold to buy this premium ship if no buffs are given in future. Suggested buff on Kai Kou Type maybe: 1) increase sonar range for scouting purpose 2) shorten torpedo reload speed (if increasing number of torps is not allowed) 3) increase ship turn speed and accelerate speed for increase survivability in SS combat (it make sense in physics also if she uses same engine as I-400 but enjoys smaller in size and total weight) As such Kai Kou Type can be positioned as a compact SS for long range missions.

  4. Lexington and Impacable own over Essex and Ark Royal in many ways. There are really worthy for paying gold. But Kaga and Graf Zepplin II...... Perhaps the system want players to move to other ships than these. So poor that IJN have only Kaga, Kai Kou Type and Fuso to choose in level 79/80, all of them are weaker than their. Ear descendants Shokaku, I-400 and Super Yamato in level 90/92. Hey devs we need buff on premium ships but not nerf on CV/SS92!

  6. Wow submarine cv! actually, the long sight range of scout has worked perfectly with i400 in hunting big ships And I think the 8-point upgrade system of ships cannot bring a strong ship that cater everything. Think about Mogami1944.

  8. As there are more skilled player and it’s time to build a hardcore mode for them. Ships will get damage by friendly fire/torps, and no assistance like repair kits, smoke and master crew are allowed to used. Perhaps auto firing not allowed too. Fleets can this have fair battles purely on tactics and skills only.
  9. There should be a button to refuel all ships at the same time. It can save some time after HA, to find ships in a long queue for refuelling.

    Thanks devs to add new daily tasks on sinking SS and aircrafts, teaching DD/CL/CA players to focus more on field management!
  14. The idea of premium ship, or spending gold in Navyfield is allowing players to enjoy stronger ships (in later shiptree) earlier by spending golds. For example a premium CA25 is more or less as strong as a CA41, or Super Yamota at lv 90 has similar gun as Yamato in lv100. No game balance is broken in this sense and all players, no matter the gold payer or others, enjoy the harmony as all ships compete in the same curve. However, all of us know that the game balance is heavily broken by pocket CL. A small, fast ship with a CA level cannon and AAW, and what’s more, armmed with unrealistically heavy armour. Is out of the curve of all other ships. This kind of monsters are flooded in all battles. They make games long and boring. There have been fleet already formed by purely pocket CL. I think there will be even more fleets follow. The dev can: 1) nerf pocket CL to DD50 level; 2) refund to the buyers, and eliminate pocket CL from the game.

  16. Dear Mandzuk, Frankly speaking as a Hong Kong player I don’t mind to see Japanese names like Isoroku Yamamoto (山本五十六), or Chuichi Nagumo (南雲忠一). They are both admiralties of IJN and execute the decision of politicians. However, I would also feel offended if some players choose the name of Tojo Hideki (東條英機), who is the prime war crime who built japan a militarist country, and attacking nearby countries and executing lots of inhuman policies.
  17. Hi Dev, To promote the loyalty among different nations here are some advices: 1) Add ‘war between nations’: Fleets in similar nation can fight against those with other nation. Players can share common tactics (eg: RN and KM more defensive and IJN and SN more offensive). 2) Statistics among the ownership of each nation in NVM world: Let players know which nations are most/least commonly used. 3) Bonus on less common nation(s): To promote players to open new nations (especially the coming Italian and French fleets). Bonus can be captain/crew xp or steel reward. 4) Chat room for similar nation: provide channel to exchange tips/ call for nation war.
  18. The idea of bonus ship is not bad for new players/ players with new nations. The BB can be used in day one, and more importantly, in beginners’ online training. Making extra time to level a good BB before entering to great battles. Btw Andrea Doria is quite strong. It has 4 turrents with 3 barrels each, and has 1540 shell damage. Such output has been already reach BB90 level. Looking forward to Dunkerque, a small Nelson with all turrents in the front :P.
  19. Two more suggestion on secondary gun auto-targeting: All secondary guns have poor accuracy due to their short ranges. They fire in a HIGH ANGLE when the target is at their far range and the delay of high flying shells make the auto targeting miss target always. This is somehow ridiculous because in real life guns with small caliber will only shoot in low angle for a faster and more accurate hit. Beside, in close combat due to the small size of CL18, the auto-target system, that aim the CENTRE POINT of the CL, would also make shells impossible to hit. This two faults make BBs and CAs can only use MAIN GUN tor close combat defence against CL18. How unrealistic! It is appreciate that the devs have already make all CAs (except Mogami 1944) have manual AAW function for game balance. Please improve sec gun accuracy also for crediting BB users.
  20. And they have irresponsibly strong AAW too. Making CVs need to sacrifice squads to attack it (but may not hit due to its small size)
  21. The current reward system of HA is based on the strength of defenders’ ship and defensive building. Therefore, the best defence setup in HA is empty your defence: having no ships for defence, and building zero upgrades. You will just then pay 1000 steel loot only and the attackers enjoy 0 captain exp. Due to the waste of time (plus the waste of oil for a high level fleet), many attackers just give up one range point to bypass this player, hence an attack is peacefully resolved. The question is, why a prepared attacker need to waste 1 range point for those who don’t develop their defense? Is the game punishing the former and rewarding the latter? The game should change such reward mechanism like Increasing the loot to those zero defender, or the attacker can also get some captain xp if they choose to attack.
  22. Some more tips: A higher level SS/BB/CV means high repairing cost as well as higher upgrading cost. Don’t forget to make sure that you’ve got stable steel production (from plant, from other ships for farming, from HA) to make on it.

  25. Use Crossing the t to shoot large target with salvo: turn your boardside toward target’s bow. All shells can arrive at the same time, causing large damage as well as high accuracy.
